About Jarryd:
I am a dedicated and passionate table tennis player with seven years of experience in the sport. Although I started off as a complete novice, my love for the game kept me going, and I gradually honed my skills to become a competitive player.
Representing my club at state tournaments has been a significant achievement in my table tennis career. It has not only allowed me to showcase my skills but has also provided valuable opportunities to learn from top players in intense competitive environments. These experiences have helped shape my game and instilled in me a deep understanding of the sport.
One of my proudest accomplishments was being named 1st in order of merit in the under 17’s category. This recognition not only validates the effort and hard work I have put into improving my game but also serves as a testament to my commitment and dedication. It has motivated me to continue pushing boundaries and striving for excellence in every aspect of table tennis.
As an accredited level 1 table tennis coach, I have been able to share my knowledge and skills to guide and inspire other players. Currently, I assist Franck with a junior beginner session on Friday afternoons. Working with Franck and the beginners has been a valuable learning experience, as it has taught me how to effectively assist and guide players in their table tennis journey.
I believe in fostering a positive and inclusive training environment where players of all levels can enjoy the sport and feel supported in their goals, whatever they may be. Whether someone wants to improve their skills or simple have a fun hit with an experienced player, I strive to ensure that every session is fulfilling and rewarding.
I am genuinely excited about the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of aspiring table tennis players at WTTA.
