Format (No Elimination)

• Every event is a main draw with no elimination.

   

  Every round, results “split” the draw so you play people with a similar record.
  With 16 players, everyone plays 4 matches, and you finish with a clear placing from 1^st to 16^th.
  With 32 players, everyone plays 5 matches, and you finish with a clear placing from 1^st to 32^nd.

  Round by round example for 16 players:

  • Round 1 (16 players):
    • Winners move into the 1–8 playoff.
    • Losers move into the 9–16 playoff.
  • Round 2 (two 8-player playoffs):
    • In the 1–8 playoff: winners go to 1–4, losers go to 5–8.
    • In the 9–16 playoff: winners go to 9–12, losers go to 13–16.
  • Round 3 (four 4-player mini-brackets):
    • Each mini-bracket (1–4, 5–8, 9–12, 13–16) plays semi-finals.
    • Winners go to that bracket’s final, losers to that bracket’s 3rd/4th match.
  • Round 4 (placement matches):
    • You play for an exact placing: 1–2, 3–4, 5–6, 7–8, 9–10, 11–12, 13–14, 15–16.

Events, Timetable & Entry Caps

• Rating-based singles only (no age, gender or doubles).
• Ratings used: based on the published rating list at Thursday 26^th September 2025.

Saturday

8:00am–11:00am — <900 (16 players) & <1300 (16 players)
11:00am–3:00pm — Handicap (32 players)
3:00pm–7:00pm — Open (32 players)

Sunday

8:00am–12:00pm — <1200 (32 players)
12:00pm–3:00pm — <1000 (16 players) & <1400 (16 players)
3:00pm–6:00pm — <800 (16 players) & <1600 (16 players)

Multi-event entries: Enter as many events as you like, but not two in the same timeslot.

Prize Money

• Total: Over $4,500 across the weekend.

Handicap Event – Rules

• Scoring: Single game, first to 31 (sudden death at 31).
• Serve order: Change serve whenever the total points is a multiple of 5.
• Example: if the game starts 8–0, first serve change occurs after 2 points (8+0 → 8, next multiple of 5 is 10).
• Eligibility: Players with standard deviation > 100 are not eligible for Handicap.
• The higher rated player will always start on 0.
• The starting score of the lower rated player will be determined using the table below:
  
  

Entry Fees & Discounts

• Any 16-player event: $25
• Any 32-player event: $30
• Multi-event discount:
• 2 events = $5 off total
• Each additional event = another $5 off (no cap)

Registration Process

1. Register via our website (event page).
2. You’ll receive an invoice within 24 hours.
3. Pay within 48 hours to confirm your spot.
• Your entry is not final until payment is received.

4. Spots are allocated on a first in first served basis.

5. Closing date for registrations: Wednesday 15th October - 11:59pm.

Refund Policy

• Before 11 Oct: Full refund
• 11–16 Oct: 50% refund
• After 16 Oct: No refund

Cold and hot food will be available throughout the weekend, along with cold and sports drinks, chocolate bars, and more.
